Supporting Partners

THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR PARTNERS WHOSE VISION ALLOWS US TO CONTINUE OUR MEANINGFUL WORK IN THE WEST

Picture
We are proud to partner with individual ranchers and
 ranch families across the west.

The visionary stewardship of our rancher partners for our working lands, private and public, has led the way in creating a powerful new legacy in the west. A legacy that embraces, unites, and holds multiple values, promoting, protecting, and creating healthy, biologically diverse, and economically sustainable wild-working landscapes. Our rancher partners are at the core of our efforts.

Working Circle is grateful to our supporting partners. They recognize the need to forward a comprehensive, long-term model for large carnivore conservation that allows and empowers working ranches to remain viable on shared landscapes.

Wendy P. McCaw Foundation
Our valued and inspirational partner and supporter since 2014. Wendy P. McCaw Foundation allowed for the Working Circle vision to come to fruition, helped it grow, and has ensured that our important work across the west can continue.

OAKLAND ZOO

Oakland Zoo: Working Circle is deeply grateful for the continued and generous support and vision of the Oakland Zoo in enabling us to better serve wolves and ranchers on shared California landscapes. Oakland Zoo currently sponsors 100% of our California Range Stewards! As California's wolf population continue to increase, this vital program for wolves and ranchers is more critical now than ever.

Learn more about Oakland Zoo's inspirational conservation work in California and around the globe.  And check out their California Trail education and conservation exhibit!

Oakland Zoo is now offering "predator friendly" beef sticks to their visitors from one of our California rancher partners-this is a great way for the public to further support our stewards of the wild-working lands! Check out Mt. Shasta Wild for more information on California's sustainable land's beef products.

NATIONAL WILDLIFE FEDERATION

RANCH MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS
Picture
Working Circle is honored to partner with Ranch Management Consultants to sponsor individual ranchers, landowners, and ranch managers to the week-long Ranching For Profit School. Economically resilient ranches are more equipped to withstand the challenges and changes of time including wolf-livestock conflict risk.

STRATEGIC RANCHING ON A LANDSCAPE WITH WOLVES
Picture
Strategic Ranching on a Landscape with Wolves was founded by Shella and Barry DelCurto.  Shella and Barry are multi-generational ranchers working and living wolves in Halfway, Oregon.  Shella has been supporting her livestock community by sharing her family's direct experience in ranching with wolves and other predators on shared lands.    Shella is also a presenter and clinician for Working Circle's "Ranching with Wolves" workshops.

COLORADO WOLF AND WILDLIFE CENTER

Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is dedicated to the education, conservation, and preservation of wolves, coyotes, and foxes along with the forests and lands that support diverse wildlife. CWWC is directly involved on-the-ground supporting coexistence practices that allow wolves, livestock, and people to successfully share the landscape, including providing vital volunteers and range riding services in active wolf country. We are grateful for the financial support CWWC has given for our on-the-ground coexistence efforts in Colorado.

Libby Lucas: Working Circle partner since 2016, Libby's generous annual funding directly supports our Range Stewardship programs across the West.

Remiatte Foundation:  Protecting animals domestic and wild, the Remiatte Foundation has generously supported wolves and ranching in California since 2016.
