 Reducing Wolf-Livestock Conflict

Range Stewards
The use of traditional range riders has proven successful in reducing wolf-livestock conflict in other parts of the western United States and Canada, with dense populations of
wolves and other large carnivores.  Working Circle takes the concept of range riders to a higher, more comprehensive level in what we call the Range Steward program.

Baseline Assessments
In cooperation with individual landowners and communities, Working Circle provides comprehensive ranch and resource assessments, wolf-livestock
conflict risk assessments, and planning and strategic development. We work to co-develop ranch-specific management strategies with multiple co-benefits in
the context of wolf-livestock conflict risk reduction and increasing ranch resiliency.
